SubBase is a custom map for Red Orchestra 2: Rising Storm, a game powered by Unreal Engine 3. The map was originally created by Mr. Martin Palko and released for Modding Contest in 2013. I took over the map in the same year as Mr. Palko had different priorities and I was asked by community to do so. I was active player, the map was very nice and I know where the problems are. First thing to do was rebalance the map, it required a lot of testing but the needed success was achieved. Many players complained about lack of cover and details about objectives. I improved this as well. Last complain was about the large structure, which felt empty and not really fun to play. I added many cover, extra patches inside the structure and the results were pretty great. The map is ranked by five stars of five on Steam Workshop.
